I'm heading off to the John Powell Discus Camp in less than 12 hours, but I had a meeting at my new job today. I opened the collected "Crossfit Journals' to the other coaches and we started a dull discussion. No interest, really. So, four high school football players came in and (remember, I am a religion teacher at heart so there are no coincidences) they asked to be let in the weightroom to "work out."

Ah.

"Coaches, let me show you "Fran." The pullups were not perfect, the thrusters were 65 pounds, but I have "converts." I mean, talk about intensity and teamwork! Ten minutes later, "There is a new sheriff in town!"

It is going to be great...I hope. After that, I showed them Farmer Walks and the total workout took about 20 minutes. But, the athletes loved it.

Back to the meeting...total immersion in the journals...

It's been said many a time, that you won't get many CF converts by talking about it; you have to show people.

I guess this is further proof; nice work, keep us posted, Dan!
