Re: Golfers Elbow
Golfers Elbow (Medial epicondylopathy / common wrist flexor tendon tendonopathy) can be caused by multiple things. The first few things to figure out is...
1) How long has it been aggravated. This will change the course of action as far as getting it to settle down. Acute injury you are looking at more of an inflammatory process, chronic and you are looking at more of a degenerative process. Both have different treatments and treating one like the other may actually cause it to flare up more.
2) How is your wrist mobility (wrist extension)?
3) How is your shoulder mobility?
4) How is your Thoracic spine mobility?
When do you feel it the most?
If in an OHS/FS, do you have an immobile squat due to hip or ankle limitations?
Does it hurt in pulling exercises?
