Was wondering if folks noticed what's going on over at gymnasticbodies.com (wfs)?
Apparently Coach Sommer has released the long-awaited second edition of BtGB in a sense. It's being released in an online version along with all the other long-promised works - in a "foundation" and "handstand" series.
It's a back-to-the-basics approach. It seems interesting however what
gets me is that most everyone one there is gung-ho and calling it da bomb, however it's a 18-36 month course to complete - so isn't that a bit premature?
Price is not outrageous - each equiv to a personal training session.
The other thing is form is obsessed about there as though they are
being judged in competition! Form that avoids injury matters, everything
else is just fluff to me. Although ultimately form that is good enough makes
the move easier so you can move on to more difficult variations.
