You are not going to be gaining any muscle eating only 1500-2000 calories a day. It sounds like in reality you are eating/training with fat loss as your primary goal. If you are concerned that you aren't gaining muscle, think about eating more.

You have been eating below maintenance for a few months, throwing in intense exercise, but the weight loss is plateaued? You may be undertrained/overfed and your body is putting on the brakes. Have you taken a break at all for a week or two where you eat at or above maintenance? Might be worth trying to break through the plateau.

Another simple idea is that you may be underestimating your caloric intake.
Yeah, fat loss was the main goal, with muscle gain being secondary. I don't want to get bulky, just lean and strong with a little mass, as I also take martial arts and I'd like to get back to that once I get back in shape. It's been working, I looked real close yesterday to my before and after pics and it's a subtle difference, but there's a little more definition all around, and my waist is slimmer. I just feel like I could be doing more. I think doing less CF is helping too since last night I felt like I did a lot better.

If fat loss and muscle gain are too much at once tho, I'll stick to the cutting fat.

I did take a week off and just ate normally and didn't work out at all.

Pics attached, I kept forgetting.

As for my caloric intake, I'm using the calculator/tracker now and tallying up everything for the day, then I threw an extra couple hundred calories for just in case. It's possible, but I've really only been having one meal a day 3 days a week and 1.5 the other 2 days. Saturdays and Sundays I eat normally, but even then I keep from going overboard. I feel pretty full from just having the green shake this morning.

My smoothies might look funny, but as long as you like bananas, and use over ripe ones, they taste great. Start with one handfull spinach, and overtime, get to 2 & 3 handfulls.
Looks funny- probably smells funny- probably tastes funny. Pass. I follow this rule in general with food and women.

I like salads, especially with bleu cheese or cheese or juicy meat.

It tastes ok, but after the workout anything tastes great, especially if there's water in it.
Word. Hunger can be a great spice.
