In my family Cauliflower ear is a right of passage and celebrated, well at least amongst the men. Long line of wrestlers. The wives, mothers, kids, hate it but they are used to it and not worth the arguments. Best way to stop is headgear. An even better way is to catch it before it happens the first time. I have drained my ears and it is an art to do it without a doc. If you cant live with mc nugget ears as the kids call them then you will have to take some time off to let them heal proper. I cant take that time off so I gave in and embraced the inevitable.
