Marine Corps Run Amuck

Hope there isn't a thread on this, it was hard to search for because the word limit kept kicking it. Anyways, anyone doing this in August at Quantico?

Re: Marine Corps Run Amuck

I plan on being there. Sounds fun.

Quote:
Run Amuck engages runners in a three and a half mile challenge filled with obstacles, mud pits, water blast and more! The race, which begins at 7 a.m. in Historic Butler Stadium, follows McCard Road for two miles before turning into a rugged offroad run along the Stadium Trail. After exiting Stadium Trail, it's back to the streets for the finish on the Butler Stadium track. The varied terrain and quality of obstacles make this race unavailable to wheelchair participants.

That looks like fun

Think it would be possible for a foreigner (Dutch) to participate in this event?

I'm sure. I don't think its just for military and families, but it fills up fast so I don't know if there are any spots left.
