Rick you getting off the SS?

Scott, that pain storm looks deadly!!! i would like to try it, but like Rick said, i dont think i wouls last but a few rounds, almost not enough to get anything from it. But wouldn't it be a muscle builder if it were a high weight low rep workout. That is what it would be if I did bodyweight frunt squats.

Im hitting the 4 rounds of 400m / 50 Air Squats, seeing if I can break the 10 minute barrier tonight. The tracks really well marked out with 20m breakdowns all the way down the 100m , especially good for shuttle runs. Sometimes I will do 10 x 50m sprint with 10 press ups. This is one of Kirez's workouts, very hard.

Give it a go Nik, treat it as a strength builder. I dont think many people will get close to ten rounds, I only started front squat this year so its hard for me too. Rickys coming back to get competitive with us on the main page WODs.

Rick THINKS he will be competitive!!Just kidding!!

Yea, I may give it a go, I looked at the main page wod run. I've been sick all week and have kept myself off the workout to get well faster. today will be my first workout in a week. I was hoping for more than a run. But other than funny looks I like the 800m run squat WOD, pretty challenging.

Its 400m not 800m Nik dont go doubling the workout on your first day back. You could always do one of the WODs from the last few days that you missed instead or as well as. Lynne would be a good one to do as it will not affect your performance on the running. The 20 min AMRAP 65lb thrusters and pull ups would probably kill your legs for the run though.

Ha ha, this is Liverpool Mate, I was going for the scally philosophy of sneaking bumpers and bar in. But this asking malarky........... you might be on to something there!

I may try your frunt squats at 10:00am, and do the main page at lunch. I mean I can always not kill myself on the run and still get a workout.
I don't know how many frunt squats at body weight i have in me, so I don't think it will be to bad on the run.
I'll post here and in my own log.

Tabata Rowing - 1039m
I think you got me on this one Richard, I will have to get a decent tabata timer as well as on my first try I used the C2's clock and as i stopped for my first 10 second break so did the timer. I then re-started and tried to keep the clock going in the 10 second break by just moving the pullin arm very slightly. All in all not a very good way of doing it. My stopwatch battery ran out also.
Solid ! I'm sure my score would have been higher without the 9 deadhang muscle-ups prior to my ring pu ladder, but nowhere close your score !

I had my tabata track in my ears to do it, it's impossible with the C2 clock. Did slightly moving the pulling arm between rounds add meters ? I'm afraid this is a no contest

There so laid back at the athletics stadium they said I can have the javelins if I ask!! No need for sneaky, besides you have to go through reception to get to the track, 50ft walls otherwise and however crossfit you are your not getting bumpers over that.

Oh yes and that being Liverpool what if someone steals your bumpers while your running around the track!!

I knew that ring push up ladder would totally suit my strengths Richard, thats why I hit the row afterwards as I knew your score was a tough one. Yes pulling the arm slightly during the 10 seconds did add too many metres but all the messing around really took the intensity out of it as well. I will call that my practise try and next time I will do it prepared.
