how far apart should rings be hung?

I've never known if there is a specific spacing for rings, does any body have any info on this?

I would think something like shoulder width.

FWIW the Rogue ring hanger allows you to hang them anywhere from 18-26" apart.

Distance between two points of attachment: 50 centimetres (1.6 ft) 0.5 centimetres (0.20 in)

Aka 20 inches

You're link didn't seem to work for me. But yes 50 cm is the regulation width. Not that you're rings NEED to be regulation for exercise purposes, but I think it's a good guideline. You certainly don't want them too wide.

Re: how far apart should rings be hung?

Gymnastics cert I attended indicated you should hang them at a "cubit" width apart. That's the distance from the tip of your longest finger to the tip of your elbow. Obviously it varies for everyone. Gymnastics use 50 cm for competition.

Re: how far apart should rings be hung?

generally, 20cm. on shorter straps, you can set them wide to make up for the shorter strap length. alright for block crosses underneath a high bar
