Re: What time is bedtime?

I go to sleep at 12:30 am, get-up at 7:30 am, and I'm usually at work by 8:30 am. You will never see me working out before 10 am but you might find me working out as late as 10 pm. Tonight will probably be a 9 pm workout.

Re: What time is bedtime?

In bed between 11pm-12am, up at 6am & pickup my workout buddy, we crossfit at 7am, into the office by 830-9am. I've found that 7hrs sleep is perfect for me - if I go to bed at 10pm then I'm awake at 5am

Re: What time is bedtime?

I'm lucky now and work the evening shift at the Sheriff's Office I am at. I get off at 12:45 AM, and generally get to bed about 2:30 AM, and am up at 10:00 AM. When not working, I still stay up to 11:00 PM, and generally get up at 9:00 or so.

I was on day shift for about 6 months and had to be in to work at 5:45 AM. That sucked, and I never got to bed before 9:00. I was a walking zombie then, and averaged only about 5-6 hours sleep a night. That is not enough.

Re: What time is bedtime?

well.. tonight I made the mistake of having a coffee too late in the evening, now, it's 1am and I'm still up. On the plus side, I did get a good chunk of work done.

In general, it's a good night if I can hit the hay between 11 and 12. Wake up can range anywhere from 5am to 7am, depending on morning activities (parades, inspections, PT, etc). I generally try to hit the gym after classes are done (around 4:30pm).

Re: What time is bedtime?

I have a 5 week old baby, so I try to get to bed by 10pm. But, usually I fall asleep, then the baby starts crying. So either me or the wife stay up with her until she falls asleep around midnight. The, at 2am she wakes up again to be fed. then I wake up around 5am to workout. Come home, eat breakfast, feed the baby, jump in the shower, then head to work.... kids are great.
Give it all of your might as you fight tonight, and keep the goal in view. Victory for L-S-U! GEAUX TIGERS!

Re: What time is bedtime?

Bedtime between 9:30 and 10:00 PM. Wake up between 5:30 and 5:40. At the gym between 6:00 and 6:15. I wish I could go to sleep earlier.

Re: What time is bedtime?

I get up at 5:00am, eat breakfast #1 at 5:20am, and train at 6:00am. So, I usually go to bed around 10:00pm. 7 hours of sleep seems to be perfect for me. By the way, this is a great thread. I often get teased about how early I hit the sack, but it seems this is common among CrossFitters.
