9 squat cleans 45#

Heidi thanks for the help and spotting on the kipping practice, I'd better hit a pullup before 2009...

Hello my crossfitting peeps!

12/1 it's friggin' December!!!

1 x CFWU
skill work: handstands
Back Squat 3 x 1
185, 195, 205....which is a PR for me...this time i broke parallel!!
Max strict p/up 2!!! a 100% increase from last week....woo-hoo
POST WOD:
3 rounds
10 pull ups
10 clean & jerk @ 95lb
10 box jumps
12:32
the C&J felt real heavy but got better as i hit my 3rd round.
great job everybody!!!
congrats Josh on the muscle ups!!

105 pull ups today
50 push ups (i have to keep them going even if it's just for me)

for those of you participating in the pullup challenge - PLEASE take care of your hands - they are a precious commodity & need to be pampered - you should be putting some sort of moisturizer on EVERY day - if your hands are seriously buggered then you should be using sandpaper/pumice stone every day - best after a shower or bath when hands are soft (you need to grind down those calluses) & moisturizing couple times each day. Burt's Bees, COrn Huskers Lotion, Neutrogena hand cream work really well. This is important so do it!!

For 2009 i want to hit a 135lb Grace...

Pull-up challenge... Yeah! 34 dead hang wide grip pull-ups today (No, not in a row). I should get more tomorrow during Tabata Something Else!

Clean challenge -> Got 9 x 135# unbroken. Should be fun to see if I can stick all 15 on Wed.

This morning's WOD:

DeadLift 5 x 3

325, 345, 355, 365 (my previous 1RM!), 375 a new PR for DeadLift and I got it 3 times! I'll get 400 soon.

Viv--Thank you for the hand-care reminder...Hand ripped again today Used pumice and applied lotion/salve as directed. I think I will need some sort of elaborate taping mechanism for tomorrow's WOD...

Listen to Viv peeps, she is right, as she so often is, take care of those paws...or you will find yourself making up a lot of pullups later on while waiting for your hands to recover.

get back on that box sandra and get in on this challenge!

squat clean challenge 15 @ 45# today but had to break them up in sets of 5 after all the burpees.

155 jumping pullups on the pullup challenge so far, but still zero in terms of getting over the bar unassisted...

Working out in your hotel room sucks. Worked on some handstands and hspu's after.
