After nearly one year, and after many wishful thoughts of some day being able to pull one off, I am posting here to say the I DID IT!!!! After a ME shoulder press night (Coach Rut Black Box protocol) I busted out not 1, not 2, but almost 3 Muscle ups! They aren't the prettiest things you ever saw but damnit I did it!

I took another video when I saw that I had started with some arm flex and I wanted to prove to myself that I could dead hang it. Well, lets just say mission accomplished. However, due to eating some chili 2 hours before the workout Funkdoobiest is not the only sound track that is audible. LOL

That rocks Nick!!

If you want full extension, try this trick that Nicole showed us ... turn your hands so palms face out to the side while you're hanging. Warning - it's not very comfortable!

Oh Yeah! Im super stoked about getting this. I cant wait to truly do the M-UP WOD's as Rxd instead of jumping! Whats really fun is that I keep the CFN Level 2 worksheets pinned up at work. I love being able to cross a new skill off that list. I will definitely be at Level 2 Int Athlete in short order!

Anthony, I will give that a try tonight, thanks! And thanks for the inspiration!

Nick

"Oh yeah, I can do that"
