Protein Powder HELP

Protein Powder

Hi all, I have a few questions regarding Protein Powder. My nano history isÖ. I started crossfit + zone on Jan 25 2010 and Iíve lost 18lbs and my body fat% has gone from 33% to 19.5%!! GO CROSSFIT

My question is based on the % of protein in the protein powder. I bought a 5lb container of 93% protein powder today for $80. I can get a 10lb 81% container for only 10$ more [$90]. Is there that much of a difference that I should stick with the 93% one?

Second- I live in Canada and I was wondering if there is any place I can order online [I mentioned location because same may not ship here] that I can buy high quality protein powder at a great price in bulk?

Thanks for the help!

Check out: At Large Nutrition, True Protein and Protein Factory. Not sure if they all ship to Canada but they all have quality products.

good luck,

Re: Protein Powder HELP

Those places i'm pretty deliver to Canada, with pretty large fees though, not to mention the GIANT hassle with customs.

sndcanada.com
bulksupplementscanada.com
wheyfactory.com

are all CANADIAN run sites. and you get free delivery on most if you order for 99$ or over.

there's not a HUGE difference betweent he 93+% and the 81%...one is the Isolate and the other is the Concentrate. Given the money I would stick with ISOLATE all the time, and other then post-workout, i'd mix CASEIN with it.

but if money is an issue i'd just use ISOLATE post-workout, and use the concentrate for the rest od the day.

Re: Protein Powder HELP

Drew - Thanks for the locations. Please clarify
ISOLATE is the 93 or 81?
also ISOLATE is?
If i usually just use it as post workout which do you suggest. The money isn't a huge deal but i don't want to spend more if i don't have to.

Re: Protein Powder HELP

ISOLATE = purer form of protein, less carbs and fat per serving then concentrate. its the 93-97% Digests faster.

CONCENTRATE = lower grade, but still pretty good, digests slightly slower.

CASEIN = digests slowest.

read these are just BROAD definitions.

fail on question comprehension. Just saying well one is cheaper and you get twice as much doesn't answer his question. How about helping instead of just poking fun at.
