13 mos. pull up fail to muscle up success.

This video was taken about about 3 months after I started crossfitting. It was september '08 I believe and I was weighing in around 280/90 pounds.

Wow. What a change. You should be very proud of the progress you've made and the hard work you've put in.

(Please make sure to indicate if any links are Work and Family Safe-WFS). Both of those are (at least with the volume off).

eugene, i remember when you posted that first video in the "most embarrassing crossfit moments" thread. it was a solid effort back then and this new one tops it easily. one can tell you put in time and effort and the results speak for themselves. good job

(btw, how are your pullups now? how 'bout a follow-up video?)

holly crap dude, i remember when you posted that video the first time too. you've come a long way in a short amount of time. impressive!!

Whoa. Lucky you didn't set yourself up for injury doing kips like that and at that weight. I'd rather not see people do kips until they can do MULTIPLE free hand pullups.

Great progress Eugene! That is excellent! And thanks for sharing that first video even though it's a little embarrassing (well, maybe embarassing for the OLD you, not the new buff CrossFit you!). Looks like nothing really got hurt but your pride, which means it was ok for me to bust out laughing when I saw that, right?

Keep it up man, and keep us all posted on your future progress!
