Left Bicep from Clean and Jerks??

I'm curious to see if anyone else is getting this pain in either arms. It feels like its about 2 inches in either side of my elbow.

I might have discovered it tonight doing clean and jerks. During the catch of the clean where the bar rests lands on the shoulders/fingers with elbows up, I think I might be tensing/flexing my left bicep upon receiving the bar. Just a thought.

I think it happened a few weeks ago going for a PR on clean and jerk. I hurts to do regular pull ups but pistol grip pullups arent a problem.

Re: Left Bicep from Clean and Jerks??

Early arm bend puts a lot of stress on the biceps and can lead ot biceps pain and potentially tears (post 13 onwards in this thread) wfs

Probably aggravating it with the pullups.
