Lightbulb Job Postings

I have a question.

I have been doing xfit for about 6 months now. I love the community and of course my box is my favorite place.

It occurred to me that xfit folks probably have many of the characteristics of a good employee. Attention to detail, commitment to measurable results, drive to succeed etc.

I sent an email to the folks at the mothership site to see if they would be opening to creating an official "Jobs" category.

I ask because I am looking for a few techies (don't particularly care where they are located) and hiring xfitters seemed like a good idea.

Any opinions on whether this would be a good use of these forums?

Thanks,

Joe

I love the idea for sure, what better way to give back to a community you are part of, and it would definitely exposed the sport much more.

What sort of tech people are you seeking?

Re: Job Postings

That is a great idea. It is hard to find a affiliate that needs coaches it is more word of mouth that affiliates are ever hiring. But then again I personally want to stay in my area. Moving out of Colorado isn't a option as of right now

Re: Job Postings

I have wondered why there is no job board yet as well. We personally found a lot of interest in coaches just from our members though, so that may be how others find coaches as well.
