Progress on April Pain WOD from CFNE

This will NOT come as a surprise to almost all on here but I think it may be relevant to new CF-ers. I've been diligent about following the CF principles since the beginning of May 2008. I don't always do the WOD from the main page because I'm looking for more kettlebell movements, since we just got them in our on-site fitness center where I work. I'm the Benefits Manager for our company and we're trying to get folks using the gym so I'm role modeling as best I can.
Per another thread running today, there are KB centered WODs on other affiliate sites and I use them often. On May 13th, I did a WOD from the CF New England (CFNE) site called "April Pain. Squats, PP and thrusters all with Kettlebells. I used 2 ea. 20# bells. CFNE says this is "pup" level and on 5-13 I surely was a mere pup.
7 rounds for time
Front Squat 14 12 10 8 6 4 2
Push Press 14 12 10 8 6 4 2
Thruster 14 12 10 8 6 4 2
Box Jump 2 4 6 8 10 12 14
Pull-ups 2 4 6 8 10 12 14
Burpee 2 4 6 8 10 12 14

May 13: Time: 37:06 : Skipped last 14 burpees (almost met Pukie) and did NO pull-ups (I could only do one DHPU and had no idea how to kip).

June 23: Time: 26:59! Completed ALL movements incl PUs and used the same 20# bell as on 5-13.
I must admit, I'm pretty pleased. I'm starting to get the kip down pretty good most of the time.
This is a testimonials board and this is my testimony! Stick to the principles of CF and you will improve.

Re: Progress on April Pain WOD from CFNE

That is awesome progress in such a short time. Keep up the good/hard work!

That looks like a rough workout. I might have to give that a try.
