4:00 PR on 2mi run

I'd been running in a 4 year old pair of NB's for the past few months now, and have noticing that A) it hurt to run and B) my feet/ankles/lower legs fatigued really quickly. Plus I have flat feet.

So I swung by the Running Store in Seattle and had my running style/form analyzed. Turns out I was wearing the completely wrong shoes. Got fitted with some stability shoes, and went for a 2 mile run yesterday. Cut my time from 20:35 to 16:35. Pretty crazy how much the right shoe can do!

(probably helps that I've been CF'ing 4-5x/week and have been Zoning for almost four weeks now, too)

Did you run on the balls of the feet? I am amazed at what a difference that has made in the few short WOD runs I have been doing, like Griff, Michael, etc. And I started running 32 years ago!
