With the weather turning warm, we're once again kicking off our monthly Central Park workout tradition.

When: Sunday, 4/23 @ 10:00am

Where: Ross Pinetum Playground , western side of the park at 84th St., just below the reservoir. (http://www.centralparknyc.org/virtua.../rosspinetumpg )

What: We'll be doing the classic CFNYC workout Mugging Gone Bad, then playing around on the rings.

The workout is free, though if you have rings, medicine balls, or other toys to bring along, we'd certainly appreciate having them.

Hope to see you there.

Sounds awesome. I picked up crossfit in January - hopefully I can hang with you guys.

David - did I see in another thread that you train at the Somerville Y? I graduated from Somerville High in '99 - kinda miss the old 'hood sometimes.

Brendan: Yessir. Do you still come around from the fancy-shmancy big-city of NY?

I usually train at the Y 3 or 4 weekdays (8 a.m.), plus an occasional weekend. PM me if you're going to be around. It's a good group there; I'm the only CrossFitter, but everyone gives the necessary space and good attitude.

Fantastic!
I'll bring my newly arrived rings so you can all laugh at me while I attempt ring dips.

btw, the weather might be a bit iffy...is this still on if it rains?

Current consensus is that we're braving it, inclement weather or not.

I'll be there tomorrow either way.
