Would it be ok to substitute front squats for the Hang Clean/Push Jerk? I need to work on those, and I figured since the front squat is half the hang clean I need to do those right before I can execute a proper clean, correct? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I suppose that you can substitute whatever you wish to. However, these exercises are quite different. Substituting squats in this workout would make it quite a bit easier in my opinion.

Finished the WOD today and would have loved to only do front squats. Lighten the weight, do the whole exercise.
