Re: Can someone turn this into zone blocks ?

Well:
egg - 1P
1 can tuna - ruffly 3P
bread crumbs - look at the nutrition label and see how many carbs are in one serving and do some math to see how many carbs are in 1/4 cup, divide that 9.

Divide all that by 2 and you have how many blocks per patty. If you plan on making that a meal you need to throw in some fat as well...and buy a scale, you cant do zone without one.

Actually, the typical can of tuna is 6 oz. That would be six blocks of protein according to CFJ #21.

Hmmmm...mine state that they are 5oz. but by the time I drain off the water and put the tuna on the scales it usually reads between 3-4oz. I would suggest doing this yourself a few times to see what kind of avg you come up with, then it really wouldnt be necessary to do it anymore.

Just go to Target and pick up one of the $3.99 Chefmate analog ones. They weigh up to 16oz. and are small and cheap. I picked up two so I could take one to work since that's where I eat most of my food.

I didn't see it listed on the Web site but it was on the shelf next to one for $14.99.
