Old Timer update

I posted a few months ago for the first time on a thead about being an "Oldtimer" new to Crossfit. I started Crossfit on 11/23/12 for a specific reason. That was to get into better overall functional shape in order to do a strenuous mountain hunt here in Alaska at a couple months short of 60.

It's been an amazing journey that brought me far more than the fitness I needed for that hunt.

I wrote an article at the request of the trainers in my Box to submit to the Crossfit Journal. The reply from the editor suggested I put the article up here and I did in the "Testimonial" section.

I got a message from another forum goer and he suggested since I introduced myself in this forum that I link to the article here as well.

Fitness family

Enjoy!!
Jim

We have my wife's Sister now totally addicted as well. She lives in PA and we rambled on phone so much about how much we love Crossfit, she gave it a try. That was probably 3 months ago and she has really embraced it.

I feel very lucky to have walked through that door 10 months ago.
