Re: weight loss

"but havent u heard that ''u have to eat breakfast'' and ''u have to eat 6 meals a day is just a myth''

Yes, but when you're only eating a few hundred calories per day you need to eat more, period...and breakfast is a good place to start. Skipping breakfast isn't a problem as long as you are getting enough calories throughout the rest of the day, which you're not.

I guess I should have been more complete with my post. My question should have been "do you make sure to eat after you work out?". It doesn't really matter when your workouts are, but one thing I have consistently heard is that you SHOULD be eating after you work out.

And you're right. You don't HAVE to eat breakfast. You don't HAVE to eat periodically throughout the day. But you should be eating enough to make sure you have the energy to do your workout, and enough to repair all the damage you're doing to your muscles after you're done.

Did you click the link I suggested in post #5? Right in the first paragraph:

Quote:
Calories should be set at between .7 and 1.0 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass depending on your activity level. The .7 figure is for moderate daily workout loads and the 1.0 figure is for the hardcore athlete.

Sorry, but there's just no such thing as a meal of peas.

You're eating like a bird. Stop it.

The point of my comment was to try to change your perspective.

With as little as you are eating right now, it seems to me that you really do think that there could be such a thing as a meal of peas. When you received critique that you weren't eating enough, you pointed toward a meal of peas as if it was going to change the answer.

If your perspective is that you can have a "meal of peas," then I have no difficulty at all believing that you are struggling with your diet.
