Bowed Legs

Could bowed legs be causing my leg problems? I've been over them numerous times here. Just say a new PT today who said I have some bowing.

That kind of clicked, because it would seem to explain everything about the way my legs feel and look.

Could that be the reason my legs always feel out of alignment, like the muscles aren't working right, and I always feel off balance? And that the muscles look different - twisted, and thus unable to fire normally, if that makes any sense?

Unless it's severe I would say no.

Frickin Dmitry Klokov appears to have "some" bowing in his legs and has no problems lifting weights.

Re: Bowed Legs

Yes, it's your bowed legs that are causing all of your ailment problems. It has nothing to do with the fact you are a massive hypercondriac.

Yes, I'm pretending that my legs feel like crap. Why didn't I realize this earlier. You're a genius, and super-helpful.

They're all better now!

Re: Bowed Legs

If bowed legs were a problem youd have noticed it before you were an adult. My legs are definitely slightly bowed and Ive never had a problem remotely related to that.

If your legs have really constantly hurt for this long you really need to see a specialist doctor and not flit around to all manners of PT people and message boards.

I don't know where to begin. I've asked and asked PT's and doctors and they don't have any suggestions in terms of other options and/or other kinds of doctors.

Re: Bowed Legs

Have you seen an orthopedic doctor? Have you had any tests done, x-rays, MRIs, movement tests? If so, what have the results been? Are there things you flat out just can't do with your legs?

Being honest, and not trying to be a d***, I think if you have done the above things and every test has come back negative and you can physically do every movement, there's a good chance that it's mental. Have you tried just taking a break and letting yourself reset? I mean, a complete and total break for a week or so.
