Do you pay much attention to cals?
I know I am always asking annoying questions, but after 2 weeks of eating a lot...I gained weight. I read through bodyrecomp, Whole9, Urban gets diesel, etc and the "eat more, sleep more, train less" doesn't seem to work for me in terms of fat/weight. I started a strict Whole30 on 1/3 and am going to try a calorie deficit along with that. I am OK with comprimising a smidge of muscle loss and performance if it means this stubborn BF will drop!
So at 5'4" 125 what would you suggest for a reasonable calorie deficit? My BMR with activity included seems to be about 2000 cals. Do you think 1600 seems reasonable? I have/am dropping my WODs to 4 per week, 1 day yoga, 1 day run, 1 day complete rest. I sleep at least 8.5 hours per night. Thanks!
