Home gym help needed

Hello all I need some info. I am putting together a home gym. I am new to crossfit and really want to learn and get involved. My first goal is to Lose weight and slim down get my body healthy. I have 400+ pounds of free weights. I have a bench and a "golds gym" rack with cables for pull downs or whatever. I am a welder and pipe fitter so I am good at making things. Looking for advise or plans for somethings I may need. I am going to make a pull up bar and have dip bars also. I plan on making some plyo boxes tomorrow from some plans I found. Any other ideas or plans (even for the pull up and dip bars) would be great. U look forward to your input.

Honestly with you knowledge in trade skills the sky is the limit. You can biils a cage, pull up system, what ever you want. I would say invest in some bumpers and a relaliable bar. Their is plenty of good information on the site just requires a search.

If you're a welder, the first thing that comes to my mind is a Prowler type push/pull sled
