Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Good workout today!

I missed CF Total on Saturday, so I made it up today.

Back Squat - 225 GOOD FORM!
Should Press - 155
Deadlift (PR) - 305 GOOD FORM!

My squats and deadlifts made me happy today. I did some really good warmup, and it paid off. Very happy. 685 total. I'll find my previous somewhere. I think it was closer to 600.

Then I did the WOD. 30 abmat situps, 25 back extension. 5 rounds, for time. 8:54.

Thrusters 1-1-1-1-1-1-1

85, 100, 110, 125, 135, 150, 165

Good benchmark for me. I don't think I've ever done 1rm thrusters, before. I was really happy with 165. I was hoping for a metcon today. Oh well, I know I need the squat practice.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

I know I shouldn't be frustrated with myself, but I am. I couldn't get the cleans right today, so I dropped weight to save my form. I'm bending my arms WAY early.

21-15-9
Cleans and ring dips. dropped to 105 after first set. Got the ring dips okay. A little under 9 minutes. I'm too tired to go back and find the stopwatch.

Boo.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

HE did his first round with the 135, checked his bad form and (WISE) droped the weight to somthing more managable.

His time was 8:34.

Nicole

8 rounds. 63 pullups (last round was only 2, terrible). Ended my last round at about 19:40. Felt pretty good today. I needed it after yesterday, although my traps are raw.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

After a weekend of cookies, beer, wings, and other things I shouldn't have had, I decided to put my butt back into gear and do Kelly today.

Man, that was rough. Box jumps were about 28 inches. Definitely the hardest part. The run felt really good. Wall-ball was pretty consistent. I screwed up the timer, but I don't really care. I got my *** handed to me. Good day back.

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Yeah, it was rough. I have no idea how long it took us. Felt like forever. The box jumps seemed never-ending!

Re: The Chronicles of Brady

Doing squats correctly is hard!

5x5

185, 190, 195, 200, 205

My 1rm from CFT was 225. I feel good about today. I'm excited to keep working on my ROM. Nik said I'm just a hair too high. I think it's just elbows and hips. Gotta keep working. It'll get up there!
