just wanted to let you guys know that i set a PR in the OH squat yesterday. as a warm-up i decided to do reps of 5 OH squats starting with just the bar, adding 5 lbs. each round before my WOD. i made it up to 85 lbs. (exactly half my bodyweight), which may not seem like a lot compared to a lot of crossfitters, but when i started doing these a few months ago, i was having tons of trouble with just the bar, and had to use a 30lb. stick! i tried 90lbs, but didn't feel that solid and didn't have a spot, so i didn't risk it!

just wanted to keep you posted on my progress and thank you once again for such an amazing resource!

Congrat's Scott! Add a max set of pull-ups to your pre-WOD warm-up and we should be able to fix the pull-up issue you identified in another post.

Your successes mean the world to us and your thanks warm our hearts.

just an update...did 20 pul-ups in a row today as part of my warm-up. granted, the last few weren't done in the best form, but it's progress!
