Re: Bj Penn vs. Diego Sanchez ?

I've never been much of a Diego Sanchez fan, but I also agree that he has earned his keep already. Saying otherwise is like saying Silva doesnt deserve a title shot at LHW because he needs to "earn his keep" at that weight...

I think Penn would win. His cardio seems to have improved since he dropped back down in weight, although he hasnt had to go the distance since then but he has gone pretty far into some fights. I think Diego would def try to push the pace more though. It'd be a good fight.

Re: Bj Penn vs. Diego Sanchez ?

i dont look for Maynard to give BJ any problems. at 155, lay-n-pray wont work on BJ like it did when Hughes did it to him at 170. i see Diego's pace being difficult for BJ to handle.

Hermes Franca is another one to look at once he works his way back to the title picture, heavy hands and good BJJ.

Diego by knockout early or BJ by submission late. That's the way I see it.

Re: Bj Penn vs. Diego Sanchez ?

Sanchez is a warrior, he will put up a fight, but I don't see how he could win. I really hope he gets destroyed.
Maynard won't be able totake him down enough, only GSP can. Hughes had a tough time with BJ, and he's a bigger and better wrestler than Maynard. There's not really anyone in the UFC with a chance. They need to sign some more competition like Kawajiri or Hansen.

BJ has an iron chin, there's no way Sanchez will KO him. BJ could definitley KO him though.
