Rogue vs Again Faster

I'm going to be buying two new barbells next week. One mens and One womens bar. Does anyone have insight about the team again faster bar vs the rogue bars? Any help would be awesome. Thanks,

Can't go wrong with either; I'm filling my gym with Rogue.

Re: Rogue vs Again Faster

I've got the Again Faster 20kg Team Barbell. It's a nice bar, but the knurling is a little sharp (I'm sure it will be for any new bar), but the grip on it is nice. The AF bumpers spin real nice on it, too.

I have both the Rogue and Pendlay HD bars. The Rogue is a fine bar, but I much prefer the feel of the Pendlay. It's just a finer, less aggressive knurl. I'd throw that one into consideration, too.

I have a black and silver Rogue bar...love how it looks, love the knurling...really love the lifetime warranty!

Never used an AF bar

Am I the only person who LIKES bars with aggressive knurling?

I don't mind it for singles, but any time you're doing triples or trying to do unbroken sets your hands take a beating. Like doing hang cleans or hang snatches, both great movements but if you are trying to string together 5 w/ gnarly bar you make it so you can't do other stuff (or it just hurts). I'm fine with pain, I just like it mean something, not just pain for it's own sake.

Plus, I've never missed a lift b/c the bar didn't have enough knurling.

I am for stuff like deadlifts, LBBS and 1RMS but when doing high rep stuff I have tore my shins and hands up pretty good on an Eleiko with some insane knurling

... says the powerlifter.

I love it when deadlifting, hate it when doing a bunch of Snatches.

And I am never into center knurling for anything but back squats.
