290 lb Hang Clean

290

First I've gotten this lift to move in almost 6 months, I know its from far away and the angle isn't great but if anyone sees anything worthy of feedback I'm more than willing to listen.

Looked pretty good. From the front, it's impossible to tell if you finished your 2nd pull (but it looked slightly short). However, if that keeps you from hanging out at the top of the 2nd pull, which a lot of people will do, then s'all good.

I'm just happy somebody posted something over 225lbs on here for the first time in a month.

I agree with Matthew, it looks like you are not opening your hips all the way cutting the second pull just short. That extra extension will translate in to more power and height on the bar. Good speed by the way.

You know what they say, "Coaches make their money from the side." It would make it easier to see extension from the side. But it looked like a good lift to me. I'm envious of your speed.

Try to be more patient on that pull. You hit kind of low and that's why it crashed on you. Wait longer and get that bar higher on your thigh and you will start racking your weights better allowing you to add more weight in your lifts. Hope this helps.
