You might want to research the sectional and look at the times taken and weights used.

If anyone knows what sectional Matt Chan was in it would be helpful.
Hi Andy, sorry to jump in on your log here but I found the WOD that Scott is referring to.

http://games2009.crossfit.com/region....html#comments

The video only seems to play from the .mov option, Matt Chan and Ricky Frausto both did 75lb Power Snatch

Well worth downloading and watching! And good luck!

Re: The Next Chapter

What a weekend....

had a great time and eye opening experience at the competition....

WOD 1:
.93 run and OHS with time cap of 10min.

I got 21 OHS w/ 115 in...which I was happy with not sure how I would fair on the run and 3rd time ever doing OHS.

WOD #2:
21.15.9

225 dead
C2B
burpees

deadlifts were cake...3 callouses on each hand ripped open on my first round of C2B and I totally bombed and could barely hold on to the bar. kepting fighting til 13 min time cap. not very pleased at alll

WOD #3:
ground to overhead

I went with the 135 lbs x 52 reps choice and got it done in 6:23

a lot of great athletes there....everyone was very friendly....learned a lot and the bar has been set a bit higher for my training.

Re: The Next Chapter

Great work Andy, especially that 52 ground to overheads in 6.23, thats strong work. Glad you have got yourself some comp experience, ignites the training even more.

Re: The Next Chapter

12/06/10
Still sore from Saturdays events but plugged away nonetheless

90# Power Hang clean / 45# KBS

21/3-18/6-15/9-12/12-9/15-6/18-3/21

Followed by my weekly partner cashout:

500m row / OHS with 45# bar
One person rowed while other did OHS, rotating every 500m until total of 5k was hit

We will see how long I manage to grab a partner for these....hahaha
