Re: street fight: Jason Khalifa vs Ronnie Coleman

Its not necessarily that I don't like the thread per se...its that op knows next to nothing about ronnie coleman, and assumes big dumb slow bodybuilder mentality...and xfit board in general feeds it...

So a few on here try to actually spread the knowledge around here...and some refuse to actually have open ears.

Is this where this thread should go sure, because this is the section for it...but dumb stereotypes shouldn't be tolerated either.

Mark and others prove my point...if I would have made a thread bashing xfit superstar Joe smith** and pitted him in whatever and said meh he'd probably fail cuz he's tiny and blah blah...its the SAME mentality...all i'm asking is stop these dumb stereotypes.

Who would win between Optimus Prime and Lion-O? Better yet, do you think Snarf from Thundercats could beat up Orko form He-Man?

Have you ever considered that a thread like this might be a good place for people to actually learn a bit broaden there horizons and indeed have a bit of fun?

There isnt a male alive who if hes being honest hasnt thought about these sorts of matchups at one point or another....

Stuff and nonsense = bluesky a bit looser rules of factual engagement - not so srys...

I actually found it pretty interesting hearing about Collmans background - not so much listening to a angry hissy fit

Anyhow back on topic i think Welborn would be a good matchup!

Close call, but I think Orko takes it.

Re: street fight: Jason Khalifa vs Ronnie Coleman

It is kind of funny to question the athleticism of someone who can deadlift 800 for a double (it was bounced so we'll say 1.5 reps), bench 495 for reps at single digit BF and was on swat team while competing in international level body building. (They had to special order his bullet proof vest)

And yeah, Coleman did steroids. He did alot of them. I mean ALOT. But we post pictures and thread of adulation for 1970 and 80's era russian weightlifters, I assure you they were not clean.

We have to separate the crap from the body building magazines from the body builders (the ones actually on stage). When you are at the highest level of anything, the rules change.

To the OP, I don't know Khalifa, but all the videos I've seen on Coleman show that if got into a fight, he'd tear down a brick wall to keep kicking your *** all the while screaming "hey buddy".

Better question "Scarlet vs The baroness"? The fight will be held at my place. I'll let you know what happens.

You still play with action figures? Me too!

Back to the original thread, I think Khalipa would win because he knows how to do med ball cleans and thus would have increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. He can run AND do thrusters!

Also because Ronnie Coleman is just a musclebound dummy who does nothing but concentration curls all day. Steroids shrank his peanuts!

lol I know Ronnie did steroids and I know that he was pretty damn swole even before he started taking roids. I was just trying to mess w/Drew a bit by stating the obvious and acting like it was a revelation
