Re: The Dog Thread

These pics are from the morning before I left on a 23 day +/- 8,000 mile motorcycle road trip this summer [dig the "Black Box" CrossFit NYC shirt I am wearing that day -- I had to represent CF on my ride]. Beef got a new bed as my going away gift and promptly abandoned the old one to get into the new one.

A good picture of Otto with one of our friends' kids. She loved Otto so much she went home and wrote a story about him that her mom then gave to my wife. It was pretty cute.

Re: The Dog Thread

This is Tucker, our Golden Doodle. Despite the cheesy name, he's turned out to be one of the coolest dogs I've ever know. His one weakness is mud puddles. He has some primal urge to charge snout first into every mud puddle he can find.

Re: The Dog Thread

His name is Boulder. 5yo Yellow Lab. Was a rescue, that was bread to be an assistance dog but was abused to the point "they" thought he might have to be put down. Been in my family since he was 9months old. At first he was so afraid of me he would pee and leave the room. Hundreds of snacks later, he is my jogging partner, my wifes protector when I'm on shift and my 2 sons best friend.

Re: The Dog Thread

Brian-
Boulder is awesome... I love the picture of him in front of the Cats with your son. The grainy nature of the photo reminds me of when I was a kid of the same age (I was a toehead too).

You got yourself a great family there!

They are actually both brazillian mastiffs. Male and female. My wife always wanted a mastiff, and I grew up with boxers. Needless to say she won, and has fully converted me to a mastiff lover.
