I have personally seen a guy fall down at the end of his set of squats after giving blood earlier in the day. He was dizzy and out of it for a while. It could have been much worse had it happened 30 sec earlier.

I guess it would depend on the workout and the weight involved. If you can't stand the thought of taking a rest day (which 1 day is not going to hurt future WODs at all) then go easy. It's better to go easy or not at all instead of dealing with an injury that can take months to fix.
