Front Squats Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zA_K1jihF0

Making use of my new camera again during a strength day. In my eyes there are some strength movements that I need to refine and work on, this one however isn't one of them.

I won't discount the fact that someone else may know better than me though, so comments are welcome.

These are legit. Don't change a thing, except to add weight!

Re: Front Squats Video

Thanks guys.

Will be looking now to start to transfer some of the ability that I have here into my clean and jerk. If I'm able to front squat 290 for a triple I should definitely be able to clean more than 240.

Will just have to chip away at that.

Definitely.
My FS is 290 for 1, and my clean is at 275.
Is it a second pull issue or speed under the bar? You should manhandle 240.

Re: Front Squats Video

I think its a matter of consistency in finishing my second pull, but I'm not positive. Haven't cleaned in a while, and haven't gotten myself on video doing them either.

Will probably look to get some film of my cleans on Sunday.

that would be great, I was going to suggest that.
I'm sure you'll get some great feedback.

Looks good.

Don't get down on yourself. I've front squatted 275 for 3 and 285 for 1 but my 1rm clean is 210.
