11-year-old 4th barbell training session wfs

4th time under the bar. The kid is 11 and weighs 80 lbs.

tell him to look out in front of him on his deadlift so hes not kinking his neck. as k-star would say, no broken circuits! watching that makes me wish i could have found powerlifting at a young age...

I know he's 11, but really grill the form on the back squats. Drive the elbows back, and make sure the hips shoot back slightly before the knees start to bend. His knees are coming much too far forward in front when he hits the bottom. Props to getting em started early!!! Good luck.

I watched it yesterday, but it looked like he was low bar squatting (please correct me if i am wrong). As he was going thumbless, should he turn his wrist over the bar more, so he has less pressurein his wrists?

Good job though. I like this kid.
