Re: Ernie's workout log

Fast work there Ernie, c2b pull ups probably worked better than towel pull ups as I spent too long gripping the towel probably.

Having one more go at the games WOD tomorrow, got my rope fixed so hopefully it will go well.

Oh yeah? You going back your affiliate or recording it at the globo?
I may do it again this week too. My friend wants to have a rematch sometime this week during lunchbreak lol.

Back to the affiliate tomorrow, the video method is too techy for me. If your calve feels better no reason why you should not hit it with your proper rope.

Give it hell mate!! I hope you get atleast 7 rounds!!
If I do it again it will probably be on video. I don't know if doin it during my lunchbreak at work is a good idea lol. I would have to put on my shirt and tie all sweaty after the wod. I'm too sure my boos would like the swety shirt look lol.

My target is 6 rounds and 30 doubles, just to get me to the 300 mark, my doubles although I trip up less are still quite inefficient and really get me breathing hard quick. Really look forward to the 2nd wod without doubles in it.

3-21-11
Run 10k
Time: 55:19

Proud of doing it in under an hour. Went at it in about a 9minute mile pace with my best friend. The run felt good but my calf acted up again!! It's real sore today and has me limping again. I'm gonna do my best to stay away from anything jumping/running related for a while unless the sectional wod requires it. I may do do wod 1 on Thursday again.

Great work Ernie, I guess we both made a bad choice doing the 10K yesterday. Misery love company!

Re: Ernie's workout log

3-22-11
For time
70 burpees (3:47)
60 abmat sit-ups
50 kb swings 55lbs
40 pullups
30 hspu
Time: 15:32 ( last time 15:13 but with regular sit-ups)

Was a bit skeptical about trying this because of my calf. I stretched out and warmed up real well and the calf felt fine during the burpees. I got 58 burpees in a row before stopping for like 5 deep breaths. The only reason I stopped was because my quads were burning. They are real sore from theat front squat wod.
The situps allowed me to catch my breath but I coucldnt do them as fast as I wanted. I'm not too sure why.
I wanted to get all the swings in a row but I broke at 35. My shoulders felt tired, I think my technique was off.
The pullups were ok as always.
My hspus let me down a bit. Shoulders were real tired after 16. I went at it in 3s and 2s after that. Shoulders were fried at the end.
