Re: Where to buy Concept2 rower

Is the Model E Indoor Rower that much better than the Model D Indoor Rower?
I'll be buying for my home gym.

I recently got me a Model D and it will be here Wed. The Model E from all the info I got is more for if you have a gym and comes with the more updated monitor it also sits higher. The Model D has an older monitor and is closer to the ground but both can be used in-doors.

Re: Where to buy Concept2 rower

Mike
I have 1 model D and 1 model E, for personal use may want to get the model E a little bigger in height and length, better monitor that sits directly at eye level and it comes with a heart rate monitor as well
the Model D I happen to like much better just my preference its smaller does the same job and I could care less about the heart rate monitor or having to glance down to see my work output on the monitor

Re: Where to buy Concept2 rower

Patience and dedication will get you one on Craigslist. I just got mine 2 nights ago for $400. It's in perfect shape and was 3 miles from my house.

You need to be checking a couple times a day and then be ready to run for it. I've yet to find anything that I wanted not come up on Craigslist eventually.

That being said, if you can't wait - get it from the Garage Gym Store. Price is $800 + $40 shipping for a D. Price direct from C2 is $850 + $40 shipping.

Re: Where to buy Concept2 rower

Chris - Thanks for the recommendation! We don't advertise our price on the Concept 2 Rowers due to our agreement with them.

I would be happy to quote either Model. I tell everyone that calls or emails to buy the Model D unless you are using them for competition. We use our facility as a proving grounds for all the equipment we sell in our store, the Model E seems to be overkill for personal use.

Like others have mentioned if you can keep a close eye on Craig's list for even a Model C, you will be very happy as long as you properly maintain the erg!

Feel free to call us if you have any questions!

A big ++ to that. I monitored Craigs List for at least a month, then I finally got a Model D in great condition for $400. Be patient, and ready to pounce.
