Has anyone had any experience with the Troy/VTX interlocking plates? I saw a bunch of them on ebay but I'm unsure about the whole interlocking thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think the interlocking thing is more a gimmick than anything else--why does it matter if the weights rotate or not? But weight is weight, so if you can get a great deal, go for it. Just don't buy them because you think you need the interlocking feature--it is a solution in search of a (non-existent) problem.

But weight is weight

Trust me, you get what you pay for. These plates are a gimmick. For roughly the same price you can get bumper plates instead, which are much more functional.
