I just wanted to share my excitement about my first complete WOD!! I had been "trying" a few reps here and there from various WOD's to get my confidence up that I could really do the WOD.

I was so excited I mistakenly posted the wrong time in the comments section. My time for the Virtual Shoveling and Push Ups was 30:24 not 20:24. The push ups were very difficult had to break them up.

I am so very grateful for all of the knowledge and support at Crossfit.

Thank You!

Julie

PS: I live in Rochester NY so the shoveling will not be virtual for me for very long!!

YAY Julie.

Soon you will really be posting the shorter times! It doesn't take long.

Thanks everyone for your comments!

It was funny the way my dogs looked at me as I growled through the last pushups. Their faces made me laugh and I fell on my face with only a few reps to go.

I have this WOD in the back of my head for a rainy day. It will be a benchmark for my pushup progress that is for sure!

Julie

Julie - my animals are funny during my workouts too. Now that folks come over the house to workout at Crossfit Boulder Creek, one of my cats has decided she wants to be the mascot (the one in my photo here). She likes to run in, tag someone, then run up a tree and stare at us all!

My dog kind of sits next to me and wags his tail when I'm doing crossfit, albeit the beginner's program. If only I could work out some way of letting him join in the fun...
Once, this little robin started hopping up to me when I was trying to do the pushups in Angie (4 sets of 20 and 2 sets of 10 is allowed, right? :-)) He just sort of kept on hopping around, picking up crumbs and stuff while I was grinding them out. Kinda zen :D
