CFE and Cross-Country Skiing

Hey all,

I live in Traverse City, Michigan, in an area that doesn't get a lot of plowing when it snows. I have some cross-country skis that I am trying to use more, I was wondering if anyone has had any success adapting CFE protocols to cross-country skiing, or if anyone has any suggestions?

The only thing I've really come up with so far is tabata intervals on my skis. Any input would be welcome.

Kent

Re: CFE and Cross-Country Skiing

You could probably change the rowing workouts almost directly to Alpine skiing.

Re: CFE and Cross-Country Skiing

Try skiing short distances (400-1000 m) without poles/only by using poles/one and one arm etc. (Ski pole overhead) squats on cc-skis are really hard also.

Uphill intervalls are a killer!

Good luck from Norway.
