Concept 2 Rower-Model C-

Is $675 worth it for a Model C with PM2? They say its in great condition and hardly used..was stored.

Thanks in advance!

I'd say that's definitely on the expensive end. Normally $400-450 would be a fairly good deal if everything works. I'd consider anything under $400 a really good deal.

I got 2 model D's for $500 or less each and a model C for $450.

Re: Concept 2 Rower-Model C-

Markian, $675 is a little pricey but unfortunately, the price dos seem to be going up on C2 rowers these days. Too many Crossfitters I guess. If you can find one in good shape with a working monitor for under $600 you are lucky, act fast. The days of finding model D's for $500 are long gone for the most part.

Re: Concept 2 Rower-Model C-

Markian certain areas of the country are easier to find deals on Concept 2s. In your area you can tell just by the number of C2s you see a month. In this area we see 20-25 C2s come up for sale a month--statistically meaning that we are going to have a great chance one a month to find a deal but you have to act fast and drive to get it ASAP. If you tell someone who is selling that you can pick it up tomorrow and its a good deal I can guarantee that someone else will offer a little more and then drives to get it right away. So that when you go to get it the rower will be gone. I have had it happen because someone got there an hour before me and offered $25 more. Moral of a great deal--do it immediately don't wait.

I've found mine in the LA/San Luis Obispo County areas. There was one that just went for $399 yesterday or the day before. I'm assuming model C or D, but there wasn't a pic and that's too pricey for a B.

I've seen a total of maybe 7-8 in the last 7 months... and I've snagged 2 of them (great deal on one, not so much on the other). You guys are lucky.

Yea, I feel ya man. I've seen literally one in the past 6 months anywhere near me (within 2 hours) and the guy never responded to my calls/emails, which I'm assuming means he sold it right away. Very jealous of people in more urban areas...gonna have to drive to Atlanta/Tampa/New Orleans if I really want one I guess.

I looked for the better part of a year, before I found this one. You can really save some money on Craigslist but it's a ton of hassle.

You'll have better luck if you hit the major spots like Jax, Tampa, Orlando, Miami. I use SearchTempest now and it makes deal hunting much easier.

Good luck!
