Grass fed beef in Syracuse?

Hello,

I've recently temporarily have been relocated to the Syracuse NY area (Solvay to be precisely), and I'm having some trouble finding local places that would sell Grassfed beef, poultry, eggs, and dairy. I found that there is a CNY Regional Market but that's only open during May- Sept.

Is anyone around the area know a trustworthy place that has grassfed / organic products? I don't really trust my local Wegmans.

Also I would love to go the wholesale route and buy a whole cow, but I don't have space to store it.

Thanks,
Artem.

Wegmans, not sure why you don't trust them. it's a great store.

@ Jared
The closest Whole Foods is about 163 miles from in ON. That Texas site is great. Once I get a permanent place of living, I just might give them a call.

@Matt
Thanks Matt. I saw that map too. All of the farms are pretty out there. I was hoping to find maybe an outlet or a store somewhere a bit closer.

+1 to this. They have tons of grass-fed steaks available.

My mom's trainer goes to Dolgeville to purchase grass-fed beef. I don't have more details than that, but this could be a search option.

Re: Grass fed beef in Syracuse?

That is an option but once again that is pretty far from where I'm staying. If I had the freezer space, I would take a trip there once a week in heartbeat but the way things stand now, I'm sharing the fridge with another person.

On a side note, how long can a pack of meat stay frozen and still be "good"?
