Fight Gone Bad statistics

I checked out Alexandria CrossFit's site the other day

A 3 round Fight Gone Bad:
(safe for work, family, etc.)
(although you need to look at the link, and change the CrossFit's to lower case to make the link work- not sure how to otherwise)

Forget that they have many math errors in the Total column... My question is, there appears to be a large decrease in the number of points from Round 1 to Round 2, but a very small decrease in points going from Round 2 to Round 3. I can think of several explanations, but have other people found this pattern to hold in their workouts? What about with a 5 round FGB?

Re: Fight Gone Bad statistics

A lot of it is simple "gaming" - setting up a goal for the round or for the exercises per round. I tend to do something like this in the first round - "I want to hit 30 PP, 25 on all other exercises except row, where I want 15+ calories," etc. The second round, I tend to be winded, but I push through (or try to) for the 3rd round.

PS: math does not seem to be a strong suit of anyone's upon finishing FGB. I led the "Sexy Sixers" group that day, and I did not use a calculator, so if anyone's scores are off under that category, it is my fault.
