Greatest Athlete of all time.

Even if triathlon isn't your thing, this kid embodies the definition of what it means to be a sportsman. Also greatest brother ever. Worth the time to watch.

Wow. I really don't have words. "Inspiring" doesn't seem sufficient.

Wow, thank you for sharing that. Try to catch E:60 as much as possible but hadn't seen that.

That is an amazing story, I don't have the words to describe the admiration for that kid.

Tear-inducing for sure. There is a guy I have seen who does the same thing at ironman distances with his disabled adult son. Someone needs to get them in touch with each other.

Yeah. They are from New England, and started running the Boston Marathon when Rick was teenager. They get a huge amount of appreciation and respect from the Marathon crowd every year.

Re: Greatest Athlete of all time.

The Hoyt's are truly an amazing story of a fathers love for his son. Dick, the father, was a non athlete and a smoker when he and his son first started competing. YouTube their name and you'll find numerous clips of them. Also they have 1 if not 2 books out that are very good.

"Is your stitch gone?" - coach

"Nope, but I got this." - brother

What a champion this little guy is. Awesome story that gives me hope for a generation in peril.
