Zone diet question

Hi. I am new here and have done a little crossfit (which I am finding quite fun). Diet on the other hand is a challenge. I am about 30% bf, 5'10" and 220 pounds. thus I am trying to lose a bit of fat.

This forum promotes zone/paleo so I thought I will give it a shot. Just wondering if people have sample meals?

I think I need to have ~17 blocks, which isnt a lot of calories, but I downloaded a zone calculator and 5 blocks of carbs is really hard to get without using bread/grains. Like 30 cups of lettuce or 5 peaches?

Snacks being 1 block were easy enough, I am just struggling witht he 5 block meals. any tips?

Re: Zone diet question

Google "42 Ways to Skin the Zone." It talks about a way to swap carbs for fat, among other Zone tweaks. Or you can eat stuff like fruit and sweet potatoes if you need denser Paleo carb sources.
