100 pullups for time

my name is jared gomez, im rather new at crossfit but the other day i decided to go for 100 pullups for time. i used the butterfly kip when i do mine. my time was 5:10 mins

does anyone out there know what a fairly decent time would be for completeing someting like this? I think its pretty good but that was my first time doing it so im not sure. i didnt do them straight i broke it up. any input would be cool thanks.

That's excellent, IMO. What's your height and weight, btw?

Based on my splits from Angie, I think my best was a hair over 7:00 at a ~190# bw

I just read the world record for 100 pullups was 3 minutes by some Vietnamese guy in 1988. Power/weight ratio for the win.

That must've been without kipping then because there's a video of HQ trainer Nadia doing 100 kipping pullups sub 3.

Pretty sure one Chris Spealler did 106 unbroken pullups and brought up the 100 in 1:33

I believe 100 was done in 1:27, 106 took 1:33. Too lazy to watch the video on youtube :P
