Talking Hopper Clash 2015_May 16 - 17, 2015

The Hopper Has Returned!!

Hopper Clash 2015 is a dual elimination tournament designed to put individual competitor against competitor as you battle the hopper, the clock, and each other through the tournament bracket to win the cash prize. Pre-selected workouts will be chosen randomly from the Hopper and competitors will have 6-7min to gain as many reps as possible.

The competition organizers make up the wods, which are released 1 month ahead of the competition day. In the days leading up to the comp the competitors are paired up and posted online so you have the opportunity to game both the workouts and your first opponent well in advance of the competition.

On Day 1: Athletes will be randomly selected and entered into 4 pools to compete against one another. The top 2 winners in each pool will advance onto Day 2 of the Hopper Clash.

On Day 2: Top finishers will compete in single elimination tournaments.

  • The WODs you preform and competitor you duel will all be determined by fate and the benevolent Hopper.
  • Each competitor will battle for 6-7 mins and gain as many reps as possible in either a singlet or couplet workout.
  • On Day 1 each competitor is guaranteed at least 3 wods.
  • Cash and prizes will go to the winners, a swag bag (including limited edition Hopper Clash shirt) for each competitor is up for grabs!

Last year's event was epic and we had competitors from all over the mid-atlantic and northeast regions. Take a break from the conventional crossfit competitions and go head-to-head to see who's the fittest!

*New Burpees will substituted for pullups

Update: The Hopper Clash has been shortened to a single day of competition, Saturday May 16th!!

Same rules apply. Each competitor is guaranteed 3 WODS and the top finishers will move onto the elimination battles.
