Hopper Clash - Duo Duels

Once Again it's On!

This fall’s Hopper Clash will consist of a 2 day - team competition. November 8-9, 2014. Teams of two will duel head to head in a workout determined by, you guessed it, The Benevolent Hopper. Teams will perform various 7-9 min workouts consisting of one to three fitness movements. Rep-schemes will be pre-determined based on each movement’s complexity and level of challenge. Teams will accumulate as many reps as possible within the allotted period of time.

10 -12 workouts will be pre-determined but randomly selected from the Hopper. Final workouts will be determined by the committee and remain concealed until the final round of the tournament.

Each competition team is guaranteed three workouts and teams will battle for the win. Epic prizes up for grabs for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers.

Here’s how the competition works:
  • Pool Play – On Day One 4 groups of 4 teams will go head-to-head in a round robin battles.
  • Point System – After each battle, teams will earn 5 points for a win; 1 point for a loss; and 3 for a tie. The top 2 finishers out of each group will earn a spot in the Elimination Tournament, held on Day 2.
  • Elimination Tournament – On Day Two a single elimination style tournament goes down. Day Two is for the money, ladies and gentleman. Survival of the Fittest!
