I was doing cf WOD, the bench, deadlift, clean today, and one guy who I don't know said "What, are you training for the next world war?"

That made me feel good.

My most recent one was, "What are you doing now, ya nut?"

No better compliment can there be. Well done. The more the eyes roll and the heads shake the better the workout you are doing. Keep it up.

i had a comment here at the academy gym from a recruit.
"what are you training for?"
i replied, "nothing in particular"
he said "wow, i've never seen pullups done like that before. they're crazy"

I love the stares I get when my friend and I start going through pullups. We're the only two who actually stand and egg each other on, so we get some attention, particularly once she starts swearing at me to get me mad enough to finish. ;)

I've found the answer, "Personal Betterment" is adequately confusing to the masses.

Wow, I sound like a pompous snob. Oh, wait...

I tell everyone that asks the question "Why do you work out like that etc" that I'm gearing up for the Zombie Apocalypse.

WWZ - fun read.

Don't watch "Zombie Nation" or "Die you Zombie Bastards", both are pathetic and bring shame to the Genre.

I was reminded recently that
several people in the facility
were trained in either CPR
and/ or EMS responder.
